Bruins Spread Halloween Cheer Throughout Boston Children's Hospital

Several players went room to room, dropping of goodies, snapping photos and signing autographs for the kids.

Several members of the Boston Bruins, dressed as “Minions,” visited Boston Children’s Hospital Wednesday afternoon to spread Halloween cheer.

Captain Zdeno Chara, Tuukka Rask, Torey Krug, Jimmy Hayes and David Krejci, traveled from room to room as they visited with kids across the hospital. They dropped off Halloween goodie bags, snapped unforgettable photographs and signed autographs.

The Bruins make a visit to the hospital each Halloween season.

“It’s really easy for us to come in and do this,” Krug told the team’s official website. “The smiles on their faces, the laughs we get when we walk into a room.”

Children were immediately seen smiling and laughing upon seeing the team dressed in playful costumes. Perhaps the most unique costume of the bunch belonged to Rask, who was dressed as a Minions maid.

“Just to put a little happiness into their day today was awesome,” Hayes added.
