Charlestown All-Stars Advance to Playoffs Friday Night

What a Cinderella story!!!! After a tough loss to East Boston on Tuesday night the Charlestown Williamsport All Star team had a second chance to stay alive by playing Mission Hill last night. It was do or die and the Townies pulled it off!!!!!  

With 5 tremendous innings of pitching from Jared Burhoe coupled with a great defense, key offensive hits, aggressive base running to manufacture some runs and a fantastic lights out last inning pitched by Jason Smith, the Townies took home the victory 6-3. On to the next opponent this Friday night, time TBD at the Neck!!!

Please support your 11- and 12-year-old All Star team as they continue their District 9 Playoffs this Friday night at 6:30 p.m. versus Allston/Brighton.
