Today: Charlestown's 31st Annual Halloween Parade, Festivities

Happy Halloween!

CHARLESTOWN, MA — Sure, you've got your Bunker Hill Day, but Charlestown's colossal Halloween celebration is coming darn close to giving it a run for its money.

This year's will return on Monday, Oct. 31, for the 31st Annual Halloween Parade. The event kicks off at 5 p.m., and the Monument Parade starts at 5:30 p.m.

Additionally, be aware that the following parking restrictions will be in effect from 12-8 p.m. on Monday for the event:

  • Monument Square, both sides, around the entire Square
  • Winthrop Street, both sides, from Monument Square to Common Street
  • Common Street, both sides, from Winthrop Street to Adams Street
  • Adams Street, both sides, from Common Street to Winthrop Street
