JW Conway Bunker Hill Post 26 Installation of Officers
The post was founded by veterans of World War One in 1919.and is celebrating its 100th Anniversary.
The installation of officers was conducted by Anthony Diaz, Department Vice Commander. Special guests included Jake Comer Past National Commander of the American Legion, Representative Dan Ryan and Judy Evers of Councilor Lydia Edwards Office.
The current officers include the following:
Milton Lahsus, Commander
William Boyle, Sr Vice Commander
Junior vice Cmdr Cheryl Hodge Spencer
Membership Chairman. Arthur Hurley
Service Officer Sam Morris
Arthur Hurley Finance Officers
Paul Morceau Adjutant
Membership in the Legion is encouraged. All veterans that have served at least one day of active federal duty since December 7, 1941 are eligible. This is a change that was recently approved by Congress.
