Latest Massachusetts Weather: Snowstorm Hit Or Miss?

The state will see snow, but may escape this weekend's massive storm relatively unscathed while others get hammered.

If you’ve already purchased four gallons of milk and dozens of AA batteries, it’s best if you saved your receipts.

The potential winter storm that had threatened Massachusetts should still bring weekend snow, but the terrifying brunt of it is expected to miss the state.

The southern part of the state will see the most likely see the most snow, up to 6 inches Saturday night in areas like New Bedford and up to 3 inches in Boston, according to WHDH, 7 News.

But even Southern New England seems to be too far north of the storm to see crippling amounts of snow. Of course, that could still change.

Virginia and Maryland are among the states which will likely see the most substantial totals, up to 1 or 2 feet. New York could be hit hard, too.
