Man Accused Of Pushing Older Customer During Armed Bank Robbery
Police said they arrested the accused man walking down the same street as the bank just a week later.

CHARLESTOWN, MA — Police said they arrested a man accused of pushing an elderly customer as he was robbing a bank at gunpoint in Charlestown. They noted the man was walking down the same street as the robbed bank less than a week after the alleged crime took place, when they nabbed him.
A man walked into the Citizens Bank on Austin Street last Friday, pushed aside an elderly customer who was waiting in line and pointed a gun at the teller, demanding cash, according to police.
He then ran out of the bank with the money, they said. After getting a description of the man accused of the crime, police said the Bank Robbery Task Force singled out Thomas Hickey, 49 of Boston as the person behind the crime.
