'Modified Service' And Cancelations For Boston Amtrak Routes on Wednesday
A tragic derailing in Pennsylvania impacts Amtrak's schedule in Boston.

Due to a catastrophic Amtrak crash in Philadelphia that killed six people and injured 146 on Tuesday, Amtrak has announced that many of its trains will provide “modified Amtrak service” on Wednesday.
These include trains slated to take passengers between Boston and New York.
Meanwhile, many trains scheduled to travel from Boston to Washington D.C. have been canceled.

Amtrak isn’t very specific about what “modified” means in this instance. However, the company was still selling tickets for Boston/New York Amtrak ventures as of Wednesday morning.
