The checkpoint will be held in an unknown location beginning Friday, Nov. 20.

Massachusetts State Police say they will hold a DUI checkpoint somewhere in Suffolk County beginning Friday, Nov. 20, lasting into Saturday, Nov. 21.

In an announcement Monday, state police did not reveal the exact location of the checkpoint.

Sobriety checkpoints are periodically held to “further educate the motoring public and strengthen the public’s awareness to the need of detecting and removing those motorists who operate under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs from our roadways.”
