Sparky's Puppets Show Tuesday at Charlestown Branch Library

2. Puppet show: Sparky’s Puppets will give a performance at the Charlestown Branch Library (179 Main St.) on Tuesday, Aug. 6 from 11-11:45 a.m. as part of Boston Public Library’s “Dig Into Reading” summer program.

Teen program: The Boys and Girls Club of Charlestown offers a variety of activities for teens through its summer evening program, which runs through Aug. 16 from 5-9 p.m. From summer basketball and pool time to filed trips and special events, there’s plenty to do. Teachers needed for survey: Researchers at Boston University are looking for area teachers for study on teacher responses to the April 15 attacks at the Boston Marathon and the effects on students.
