Stay Cool at The Anchor in the Navy Yard This Weekend
Activities will include water-based lawn games, water/sunscreen station and ice cream truck visits
With temperatures nearing 100 predicted for this weekend, the newest beer and wine garden located in the historic Charlestown Navy Yard, The Anchor, will help guests beat the heat with cool and fun activities.
Located along the waterfront which will be the coolest spot in town, The Anchor will host water-based lawn games, a sunscreen and water station and have an ice cream truck make stops throughout the weekend.
These activities are in addition to their unique location which features swings, umbrella covered tables, shaded areas and a selection of local beer, wine, sangria and non-alcoholic beverages.

In addition, starting Friday, July 19 through Thursday, July 25, they will host their first tap takeover with Old Planters Brewing Company. Come indulge in their top selling Crop Rotation IPA and learn more about this local brewery based out of Beverly, MA.
The Anchor will be open 11 am-11 pm Friday-Sunday.
