Join us on Jan. 28th in Charlestown for the Boston Alliance for Community Health's first "Passport to Public Health" Workshop.

BACH is excited to announce that the first Passport to Public Health workshop of 2016 is “Stop the Stigma: The Intersection of Mental Health & Addiction.”
This FREE workshop will be facilitated by Director of the Charlestown Substance Abuse Coalition, Sarah Coughlin, LICSW, LADC-I, and Community Health Worker, Shannon Lundin. Shannon will offer her perspective as someone in long-term recovery, share her personal story, and discuss best practices for generating open communication with adolescents about substance use. The 2016 CEMC cycle will be a “Passport to Public Health.” Each attendee will receive a “passport” at the first workshop they attend. They will receive a stamp in their passport for each subsequent workshop they participate in. To make attending easier, consecutive meetings will be at adjacent locations. Throughout the next ten months we will make our way from one side of Boston to the other.
