'Unruly' Plane Passenger Held, Ordered to Surrender Passport

The Poland citizen reportedly tried to open the airplane's exit door mid-flight to have a cigarette.

A woman accused of trying to open an airplane exit door during a flight into Boston Tuesday has been held on $500 bail and ordered to surrender her passport.

Kamila Dolniak, 32, a citizen of Poland, is charged with interfering with a flight crew after she allegedly tried to open the door to have a cigarette on a British Airways flight from London, England. She was restrained on the flight and was met by Massachusetts State Police after the plane landed at Logan International Airport Tuesday afternoon. She was reportedly intoxicated at the time.

Initial reports indicated Dolniak had tried to break into the flight’s cockpit, but officials amended the report later Tuesday afternoon.
