Ever dreamed of working in sports? You’re in luck! The Boston Red Sox have opened the hiring process for the 2016 season.
If you’ve ever pictured yourself spending time at Fenway Park and getting paid for it, this may be your opportunity.
According to the organization, opportunities in the following areas are available:

- Client Services -- this involves working with VIPs and season-ticket holders.
- EMTs
- Fan Clubs -- work with Red Sox Nation and the Kid Nation membership clubs
- Fenway Ambasssador -- variety of responsibilities related to the fans’ gameday experience.
- Grounds Crew -- this would involve both games and other events at Fenway.
- Kids Crew -- focus on the youngest visitors to the park.
- Mobility Assistance -- ensure individuals with mobility impairments enjoy their time at the park.
- Premium Sales -- work with premium sales clients at the games.
- Quality Control -- monitor and keep notes about areas of the park.
- Red Sox Foundation Raffle Team Members -- direct sales of raffle tickets.
- Red Sox Rewards -- part-time game-day job representing the program to members.
- Security -- interacting with fans; loss prevention needs exist as well.
- Security Screener -- checking bags as fans enter the park; also utilizing handheld metal detectors.
- Ticket Operations -- walk-up sales.
- Usher -- help fans to their seats.
- Video Control Room -- in-game entertainment.
- Video Production Assistant -- contribute to all aspects of Red Sox Productions.
- Yawkey Way Hosts -- ensure residents of the area can find their way around the park when Yawkey Way is closed for games and otherwise assist fans.
The application process is online and involves two parts: A form and a video interview. The website suggests allowing at least an hour in a quiet environment to complete the process.
Applicants are instructed to apply for only one position, even if they are qualified for multiple spots. Only the first application will be reviewed if a person applies for more than one position.
