Welcome to the tenth annual Greater Nashua Sprint Triathlon presented by the YMCA of Greater Nashua and The Center for Physical Therapy and Exercise. Whether you're a first time triathlete or a veteran you will enjoy our clean lake, rolling hills, smooth run, as well as our hospitality and convenient race venue. You will also be racing to help good causes.
Many athletes will have their friends and families at the race cheering them on. This support is an important part of the race. We will have activities for the kids and food vendors at the race for your "support crew". Come join in the fun!
This triathlon is not a USAT Sanctioned Event
Timing service and timing chips
The race will be timed using an ankle chip which will be worn during the duration of the race. Timing mats will be located as racers enter and exit the lake as well the entrances and exits of the transition area. Your results will show times for each leg of the race and both transitions.
Venue layout
The race will be based at the YMCA's Camp Sargent, 141 Camp Sargent Road, in Merrimack, NH, a suburb of Nashua. The layout of the event is shown on the map below. All start and finish locations will be clearly marked the day of the race. There is plenty of shade, picnic tables, and shelter at the camp.
Food
Our post-race food and ice cream is generously donated, so please thank our vendors and sponsors for their support!
Parking
There will be plenty of convenient parking within walking distance to Camp Sargent. See above map for parking locations. Please note that the parking at Veterans Park is for athletes only because no one can exit the area while the race is in progress.
First aid
An ambulance will be on site. In addition, The Center for Physical Therapy and Exercise will have Physical Therapists and athletic trainers available to conduct injury assessments.
Physical Therapy Services and Athlete Massages
The Center for Physical Therapy and Exercise provide pre- and post race manual techniques including massage and stretching assist. We also conduct on-site injury screenings and can help with pre-race questions. We also provide athletic taping and kinesiotaping as needed. Get in line early!
Porta-Potties
The organizers of the race are veteran triathletes and we have never been to a race with enough porta-potties (oh the stress). We decided that our race will not to have the same issue. We cannot guarantee there won't be a line but we are doing our best. We also have two porta-potties in transition area for athletes only.
The Fun Stuff
Many athletes will have their friends and families at the race cheering them on. This support is an important part of the race. We will have a bounce house, inflatable water slide, and inflatable obstacle course for the kids as well as food vendors at the race for your "support crew".
