A Chance to Make Ice Cream, An Upcoming Flute Camp & More

Five things to know for Friday in Chelmsford.

1. Happening Friday: Have kids with a sweet tooth? The Chelmsford Library’s MacKay branch will have an ice cream making party for children 6 and up at 2 p.m. Friday. There are nine openings left, and registration is required.

2. Coming UpThe Chelmsford Center for the Arts begins its third annual summer flute camp on Monday for students in grades 5 through 12. Flutists at any level will be accepted. The program is two weeks long and costs $150. Tickets are available online.

3. Weather: According to the National Weather Service, showers are likely on Friday. Chance of precipitation is 80 percent, and the high will be near 78.

4. Get Fit Monday: SheBoom Fitness is offering a non-member Zumba class for $5 if you purchase the GroupOn. Classes are Monday night.
