A Harry Potter Birthday Party, a Dance Studio Open House & More

 1. Coming Up: Have a kid who’s looking to start dance classes? Dance New England School of Dance in Chelmsford, no registration fee, will host an open house Saturday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

2. Local Government: The Community Action Program Committee will meet Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. at 50 Billerica Road.

3. Weather: According to the National Weather Service, Wednesday will be sunny, with a high near 82.

4. Today in History: It’s J.K. Rowling’s birthday! (And also, Harry Potter’s.) The Chelmsford Library will host its annual Harry Potter birthday party Wednesday from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Kids ages 6 and up are welcome to drop in for crafts, activities, games and cakes.
