A Marathon Hero Benefit Concert, a Prohibition Ball & More

Five things to know for Thursday in Chelmsford.

1. Upcoming Fun: Chelmsford Center for the Arts is throwing a 1920s Prohibition Ball on Saturday at 7 p.m. A dance workshop will be held at 6 p.m. to brush up on your foxtrot, tango and Charleston.

2. Happening Thursday: Chelmsford is planning to apply to the Mass Cultural Council for two cultural districts – one in the town center and another in Vinal Square. Thursday at 7 p.m. at the Chelmsford Community Center is the first public input meeting for residents and businesses to give their say.

3. Weather: According to the National Weather Service, Thursday will be mostly cloudy, with a high near 76.
