Back-to-Back Chelmsford Armed Robberies Sends Revere Man To Prison
John Hickey was sentenced to three years in state prison for two Chelmsford robberies on the same day.

LOWELL, MA -- A Revere man was sentenced to three years in state prison after pleading guilty on Monday to back-to-back armed robberies in Chelmsford two years ago.
In Lowell Superior Court on Monday, John Hickey,30,of Revere, was sentenced to three years in prison followed by three years probation after pleading guilty to masked armed robbery, armed robbery and conspiracy. A charge of carrying a firearm without a license was dropped.

Hickey admitted to robbing a man at 8:20 p.,m. on Sept. 23, 2015 on Wellman Road, then robbing a woman on Technology Drive 10:15 p.m. the same day, both at gunpoint.
When he was arrested, Hickey had the female victim's purse and ID, which were recovered, according to police.
