Barbara Jean (Schofield) Welch, 90, Formerly of Chelmsford

CHELMSFORD, MA - Barbara Jean (Schofield) Welch, age 90, formerly of Chelmsford, passed away surrounded by her loving family on February 6, 2016.

Barbara was the beloved wife of Robert E. Welch, devoted mother of Pamela Cote & her husband Paul of Wilmington, Stephen Welch & his wife Mary of Billerica and Carol Accettullo & her husband Marc of Littleton, loving Grandma of Mary Cote, Thomas Welch, Katie Welch and Marisa Accettullo, cherished daughter of the late Percy and Nellie (Durfee) Schofield, dear sister of Roberta Burgess & her husband John of Raymond, NH and the late Cathy & Ron Borden.

Barbara is remembered as a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.

Family and friends will gather for Visitation at the Nichols Funeral Home, Inc., 187 Middlesex Ave., (Rte. 62), Wilmington on Feb. 10 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Immediately followed by a Funeral Service at 1 p.m. Interment Wildwood Cemetery, Wilmington.

Memorial donations in Barbara’s name may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
