Billerica's Newest Police Officer Takes A Bite Out Of Crime

Boodhound joins the Billerica police as it's newest K-9 officer.

BILLERICA -- Billerica Police Department's newest recruit takes a bite out of crime, according to The Sun.

Cabot, a 7-month- old bloodhound, arrived from Kentucky about a month ago.

Cabot, the department's newest K-9 officer, replaces Wizard, a bloodhound that died at the end of 2016 after complications from bloat.

She was named after her benefactor, Cabot Corporation in Billerica, which donated money to the Billerica K9 program.
