In Business: Spirit Renewal Center Wellness Center

Tiffany Fisher started the business in Chelmsford in 2014.

CHELMSFORD, MA - Tiffany Fisher’s grandmother charged her to become the healer of her family; Fisher did more than that.

She took her grandmother’s instruction and turned it into a service to the public, and in 2014, she opened the Spirit Renewal Center in Chelmsford.

Fisher recently answered some questions as part of Chelmsford Patch’s ”In Business” series.

Patch: Can you provide a basic profile of your background in the industry (when did you get started, what are your credentials, etc.)

Tiffany Fisher: I began studying Biochemistry at The Ohio State University. I loved the material, however, I really liked interacting with people. I began my journey from scholar to healer when my paternal grandmother was moving over to the other plane of existence. She called her three children and myself as the older grandchild to bear witness and help her move through the veil. She had taught me energy games and the benefit as food and other herbals as a child. When she left she told me I was to be the healer in the family know.

I took this charge to heart. I went back to school for energy work, known as Polarity Therapy, and learned the skill and art. I added massage therapy and many different forms of alternative healing to the skill set. I started Earth Is Our Mother Bodywork in 2010. I was able to open Spirit Renewal Center Wellness Center with different therapists in September 2014.

I use my skills and art of energy work and bodywork to find the inner healer in each soul and give them a safe place to speak their voice and explore their own healing power through bodywork, coaching, energy work, and various classes that are for the individual to find peace in body-mind-soul.

Q: What made you decide to open this type of business in Chelmsford?

Fisher: I opened the wellness Center hoping to give Chelmsford a place to go to be able to feel safe to explore their own voice and inner healing guidance.

Q: What do you like best about it?

Fisher: I enjoy most when people walk out feeling lighter and more centered then when they walked in. With more clarity and faith in their own minds and hearts and knowing the answers lie within for their loves to find meaning.

Q: What’s the biggest struggle for a business like this?

Fisher: The biggest struggle, I have found, with the Center is just letting people know we are here and this is a safe place for them to use as they see fit.

Q: What do you see for the future of your business?

Fisher: I see use expanding in the building we are in with counselors and natorapaths and acupuncturists, healers with alternative ideas that give the healing power back to the individual.
