UPDATED: Car Hits Princeton Station Restaurant

A car reportedly crashed into a Chelmsford restaurant.

CHELMSFORD, MA - A three-car crash caused a vehicle to hit the Princeton Station restaurant on Princeton Street at around 4:30 p.m. on Monday, police said.

A woman operating a Honda Accord attempted to make a left turn into the Princeton Station parking lot and failed to yield to oncoming traffic, causing a man driving a Nissan Altima to drive into the side of the restaurant, police said. The Honda spun out and struck a Subaru Legacy with a mother and child inside, police said.

Six passengers from the Nissan were transported by ambulance to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The mother and child in the Subaru were also transported by ambulance to a local hospital out of precaution, police said. There was no major damage to the building, according to police.
