Chelmsford Man Dies In Rollover On 495 In Haverhill
Now police are asking anyone who may have been on Route 495 and seen the events leading up to the crash to contact them.

CHELMSFORD, MA —One man is dead and four passengers were injured with a van rolled over into an embankment Monday morning in a crash on Route 495 in Haverhill that blocked the right land for some three hours, as police investigated.
Police said another car may have cut into the van's lane of travel, causing the driver to swerve across all lanes and into and over the guardrail on Route 495 northbound near Exit 51B in Haverhill just before 5:30 a.m. Monday. State Police-Newbury Barracks troopers said they found that the 2005 Ford Freestar van had rolled over into an embankment, causing fatal injuries to the driver Alexander R. Nunez, 33, of Chelmsford.
Two women and a man from Lawrence all with serious injuries, and a woman from Lawrence with minor injuries were transported to Lawrence General Hospital, according to police.

Police said they are looking for the make and model of the other vehicle and are asking anyone who was on Route 495 just before 5:30 a.m. Monday and who may have seen the crash or the events leading up to it to call State Police-Newbury at (978) 462-7478.
