Junior Captains Blake Alber and Danny Millin are leading the fundraising efforts for CHS Special Olympics Jolly Jaunt team. The Jolly Jaunt is a holiday-themed 5k through downtown Boston being held on Saturday, December 6th.

Alber commented, “It just feels like you’re spending a day in Boston with your friends having a good time, yet you are helping a great cause.”

The group was started to raise awareness of events and fundraisers for Special Olympics of Massachusetts at Chelmsford High School and in the community. Funds raised help the nearly 13,000 athletes of Special Olympics Massachusetts live a happier, healthier life through sports. This is the team’s 4th year participating in the race, and each year they have been one of the top 10 fundraisers in the state.
