Chelmsford Church Building Goes on the Market

The Chelmsford Church of Christ building at 205 North Road is on the market.

Priced at $925,000, the building is 6,000 square feet of space and has been well-maintained throughout its years of use as a church.

According to the listing, the building is well-suited to house a growing congregation.

The church’s history webpage details that the property was purchased in 1971 and a two-story home there was converted into the worship space. Then, in January 2008, the new building on the plot was dedicated. That building is now for sale.

Preacher Lancelot Watson said the congregation still gathers in the building and will continue to do so depending on who buys it and whether a rental agreement can be worked out. If the new owner chooses not to rent the space, the congregation will begin meeting elsewhere, Watson said.
