CHELMSFORD, MA — Longtime hockey and football coach Jason Fletcher passed away in his sleep this week at age 43, leaving behind a community and loved ones who already miss him deeply.
In his obituary, he is remembered as beloved family man, teacher and coach:
Whether you knew him as "Bubs" "Bubba J" "J-bird" or "Daddy", Jason was a remarkable people person. His laughter, genuine kindness, and unbelievable big heart are a tragic loss for his family and the community.

His visitation runs until 7 p.m. tonight at Dolan Funeral Home, 106 Middlesex Street. A funeral will be held Saturday at 8 a.m., with a funeral Mass at 9 A.M. at St. Mary Church. He will be buried in the West Chelmsford Cemetery.
