Update: Chelmsford Route 3 North Crash Clear, Injury
An 82-year-old man was taken by helicopter to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.
CHELMSFORD, MA — Traffic following a serious crash on Route 3 northbound in Chelmsford was clear as of 4:45 p.m. One 82-year-old man with serious injuries was transferred to Boston Medical Center via Med-Flight. The full road, and then one lane, were closed by police.
