Chelmsford Elections 2021: Last Day To Register To Vote

CHELMSFORD, MA — The last day to register to vote in the local election, which will have at least two contested town wide races is March 17.

Each year the town holds annual local town wide elections on the first Tuesday in April. This year's election will be held April 6.

March 4 was the final day for candidates to contest or take their names out of the running. March 5 the Town Clerk's office will determine the order in which the names will appear on the ballot.

There are two town wide contested races to watch: Select Board and Planning Board.

There are two seats up for election and five people, including incumbent George Dixon running for Select Board.

As for Planning Board, there are two seats up for election and both incumbents plan to fight for them with two others vying to take over.

Then there are 65 seats up for a vote for the town's legislative body.
