Chelmsford Garden Club Scholarship Award 2018

Awarded Annually to Chelmsford Resident

On Friday June 1, Cynthia Bryant, President, and Carol Cannistraro, Past President, awarded a $1000 scholarship to Emma Bernier, a 2018 graduate of Chelmsford High School. Emma plans to study at Framingham State starting in the fall and hopes to become a Marine and Environmental Biologist. In high school Emma excelled in AP classes, both Biology and Environmental science.

This scholarship is awarded annually by Chelmsford Garden Club to any student who is a resident of Chelmsford at either Chelmsford High School or Nashoba Valley Regional Technical School or currently attending college. The requirement is that the student plan on studying Environmental Studies, Landscape Design, Earth Sciences, Forestry or Watershed Protection, Agriculture, Arborculture, Horticulture, Animal Science, Wildlife Biology, Oceanography or another related field.

The Club congratulates her on her accomplishments and wishes her a happy and successful future.

The Chelmsford Garden Club is a member of the Garden Club Federation of MA and National Garden Clubs, Inc. The Garden Club is open to residents of any town and has monthly lunch meeting, October – June, the first Tuesday of the month.
