Chelmsford High School Hosts METG Theater Festival
CHS Theatre Guild to host the Massachusetts Educational Theater Guild Festival! Eight schools perform eight one acts in one day.

The Chelmsford High School Theater Guild is excited to host the METG theater festival once more on February 27, 2016 at the Carl J. Rondina Performing Arts Center at 200 Richardson Road, Chelmsford, MA.
Eight schools will be participating in the festival and the audience will be treated to a wide variety of one acts. The festivities begin at 9:00 a.m. The day starts with Hudson High School’s production of Two Rooms. At 10:00 a.m. we welcome Lynn English High School performing 3 by David Ives. At 11:15 a.m. our next door neighbor Nashoba Tech will perform the classic children’s tale, The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe. At 12:15 Malden Catholic will perform an original show entitled Location 3.
After lunch, with a start time of 2:00 p.m., Chelmsford will perform a historic original based on a story about a six year old Jewish boy who is taken from his family by the Catholic Church for conversion into the Catholic faith. Rapiendis Dei features over 50 cast and crew members including Julia Segal as Nina and Jake Wetmore as Priest. At 3:00 p.m. Fitchburg High will present the comedy The Scheme of the Driftless Shifter. Concord Carlisle joins us for Mnemonic and the day rounds out at 4:30 with another original by Billerica High School entitled Inter Twine.

Tickets are $10.00 for all eight plays and are available at the door. Come support these eight terrific high schools and eight great plays! There is no better way to spend a Saturday than immersed in a day of great high school theater! Come join the festival!
On Thursday, February 25th, Chelmsford High School is performing their show in the Carl J. Rondina Performing Arts Center at Chelmsford High School at 6:30. Tickets will be $5.
