Chelmsford High Students to Have Second Performance This Year
The students will be performing the musical The Robber Bridegroom" on May 5 and 6.

CHELMSFORD, MA - For the first time in history Chelmsford High School students will perform a second musical in one academic year.
The students will be performing "The Robber Bridegroom," a down home country musical based on the novel by Eurdora Welty.
The story tells the tale of a "gentleman robber" who is after the money of a rich landowner. The landowner's beautiful daughter and "evil stepmother" wife get in the way of the robber's plan.

"If you like fiddle music, you'll love this fast paced comedy!" Chelmsford High wrote in the announcement.
The musical is currently in revival in New York City but now you can see it close to home.

The show stars many new and familiar faces, including: Sydney Baron, Michael Xavier, Jake Wetmore, Ryan Carey, Jenny Mitchell, Stephen Driscoll, Michael Marchessault, Sophie Bellone, Gabi Huggler and many more.
For the first time ever, the music direction is solely done by students: Sabrina Lambros, Richard Kaminuma, and Matt Clancy and two unique members of the band: Mr. Doug Greenfield and Mr. Carl Rondina.
Tickets can be purchased now online at www.chelmsfordtheater.com. Show dates are May 5 at 7 p.m and May 6 and May 7 at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $15.00 online and $17.00 at the door.Â
