When asked why he was in the girls bathroom, Voloboi claimed he was just helping his girlfriend clean her sandal, according to the Metrowest Daily News.
“He was not aware that he was causing any problem by being in a girls school bathroom,” police wrote in the report.
Officers escorted Voloboi out of the school, who kept trying to stop and talk.
Once outside, his answers “were evasive” and he kept reaching into his pocket.
He began pulling away from officers and an officer pinned him against the wall.
Police wrote that several students, staff members and parents witnessed Voloboi’s behavior, leading to a disturbance.
Police charged Voloboi of Chelmsford with disorderly conduct and trespassing.
In Framingham District Court on Friday, Judge Jennifer Stark released him without bail and ordered him to stay away from the high school.
He is due back in court on July 7 for a pretrial conference.
