Chelmsford Police Have Found A Lost Goat

Chelmsford Patch has just received word that a lost goat was found near the border of Billerica around noon on Thursday. 

If this goat belongs to you, please call Chelmsford Police animal control officer Erik Merill (pictured) at 978-256-0754. 

We'll follow up to get more details on how exactly the goat became lost in the first place....

UPDATE 2:22 p.m. - We've been told the goat was found near the South Row School, not Billerica. However, it is believed that it may have wandered from a farm near the border of Billerica. 

UPDATE 5:06 p.m., Friday - The goat is now in Methuen with the MSPCA.
