Chelmsford Resident Named Nashoba Tech April Athlete of the Month
Christopher Cassidy is a senior in the engineering academy and competes for the cross-country and spring track teams.

CHELMSFORD, MA - Chelmsford resident Christopher Cassidy was selected as a Nashoba Valley Technical High School April Athlete of the Month.
Christopher is a senior in the engineering academy, with a focus on Electronics & Robotics. He was inducted into the National Honor Society and is a Kick-Off Mentor that helps new Nashoba students. He is a member of the FIRST Robotics team and competes for the cross-country and spring track teams.
"Chris is a remarkable young man who excels in my Advanced Placement English class as well as his technical program. He often finds himself listed on the High Honor Roll, is very involved in FIRST Robotics, and is a leader on the track-and-field team," Christohper's English Instructor Bruce Sullivan said in a news release.

Christopher will receive the John & Abigail Adams Scholarship and was accepted to Wentworth Institute of Technology where he plans on studying electrical engineering.
"Chris always goes above and beyond. He’s a self-starter and has a good work ethic. I think he has a very promising career ahead of him," Electronics andRobotics Instructor Bob Makem said in the news release.
