Chelmsford Residents Say Goodbye To Popular Restaurant
Crews begin the demolition process of the Glenview Pub and Grill, a local landmark for over 60 years.

CHELMSFORD, MA — Residents of Chelmsford watched as crews demolished the Glenview Pub and Grill, a staple for many that had been around since 1956.
Demolition crews started tearing down the building Monday, with plans to finish by Friday. The Chelmsford Planning Board approved a condominium development by Page and Trahan Companies, according to the Lowell Sun.
Before the complete demolition, Mike Lenzi purchased the Glenview in 2019 after the previous owners fell into tax trouble, hoping to give new life to the landmark building, according to the Lowell Sun.

Before the initial closure in 2019, the owner reached out to the customers in a Facebook post saying, "We want to thank everyone that has been a part of our extended family the past 24 years, our staff and customers alike. We’ve created many happy memories that we will cherish always."
