Chelmsford Volleyball Team Advances to Semifinal Round

The Lions volleyball team took its Saturday quarterfinal match to the limit, but came away with the win over North Andover.

Chelmsford (6) managed to take the No. 3-seeded North Andover to a fifth and deciding set before coming away victorious.

The win sends the Lions to the semifinal round of the North Division 1 MIAA tournament.

The Lions will face Central Catholic (10) on Tuesday at 7 p.m. in a home match. The winner of that match will face either Reading (5) or Andover (1) in the divisional final.
