Chelmsford Weather: 6 Inches of Snow, Rainout Coming

Wednesday: Overnight drizzles. High 59, low 36.
Thursday: Morning drizzles. High 57, low 38.
Friday: Light rain until the evening. High 60, low 39.

A spring snowstorm dropped six inches on Chelmsford; rain is on the way later this week.

CHELMSFORD, MA - Chelmsford rang in spring with over six inches of snow Sunday, according to the National Weather Service.

The snow caused delays at Logan Airport. Few crashes were reported on major highways. Worcester received the most snow with about 7.5 inches.

Looking ahead to Chelmsford's weather forecast later this week, rain will set in. Here's the latest forecast:

Things will clear up for Saturday but the rain could rear its ugly head again on Sunday.
