Chelmsford's Weather: Rain, Warm Temperatures in the Forecast

Here's a look at the upcoming forecast with the potential for snow, as well.

CHELMSFORD, MA - As the saying goes, March comes in like a lion and goes out like a lamb. And while we aren’t looking at any severe weather this week it’s going to be a predominantly wet, but warm one before temperatures drop snow may make its way into the area.

Temperatures will be in the 50s for most of the week before lowering into the 40s on Thursday and 30s on Friday. Friday night we could also see the potential for some accumulating snow.

Here’s a look at Chelmsford’s forecast for the upcoming work week:

  • Monday: Showers in the morning before turning partly cloudy in the afternoon with a high of 55. Monday night will be partly cloudy with a low of 30.
  • Tuesday: Partly cloudy skies for much of the day and a high of 49 degrees. Partly cloudy skies Tuesday night with the possibility of a mix of rain and snow after midnight with a low of 33.
  • Wednesday: Temperatures Wednesday morning will start out around 50 before falling near 40 with occasional rain. Snow showers could come in before midnight with a low of 23.
  • Thursday: It’s getting colder. Mainly sunny skies Thursday with a high of 37 degrees. Partly cloudy with increasing clouds overnight and a low of 17.
  • Friday: An overall cloudy day with a high of only 34 degrees. Cloudy with snow showers Friday night and a low of 16 degrees. We could see one to three inches of accumulating snow.
