Chemsford Falls Short in Volleyball Final
The Lions rode a winning streak to the MIAA divisional finals, but came up short against the No. 1 seed Saturday night.
The Chelmsford Lions volleyball team came within one match of the divisional title, but fell short against Andover Saturday night.
Andover (1) took the match in straight sets, 3-0, from the No. 6-seeded Chelmsford team.
Chelmsford beat Lowell (11), North Andover (3) and Central Catholic (10) in the first round, quarterfinals and semifinals on the way to the finals-round match against Andover.
