How To Tuesdays: Yard Care with Goats
Tuesday, August 14 at 7:00 p.m.
Learn why using goats for poison ivy and weed removal is an affordable, and fun, option to assist with your summer clean-up. A local farm will share success stories of projects using goats, and sometimes sheep, to explore this environmentally-friendly approach to pesticides and chemical use.
Morning Book Group: The Kite Runner

After a summer off, our Wednesday morning book group returns with The Kite Runner by Khaled Hosseini, a harrowing tale of growing up in 1970s Afghanistan, coming to America, and grappling with memories of the past. New members welcome!

Concerts at MacKay: Keith Munslow

Join us this summer for music, laughs, and fun on the lawn at MacKay. Bring your chairs or a blanket! Rain location: Chelmsford Senior Center, 75 Groton Rd., N. Chelmsford. Singer and keyboardist Keith Munslow brings us fun, toe-tapping tunes. Join in and sing along!

End of Summer Bash

Join us for a celebration as we come to the end of our summer reading programming. Snacks, crafts, games, and more! Drop in for ages 6-12. Teen volunteers should arrive at 9:30. Contact us if you want to help out!
Libraries Rock! Learn to Play the Harmonica
Saturday, August 18 at 2:00 p.m.
Whether you are a beginner, or want to hone your skills, Mike Rogers will share his 50 plus years of acquired knowledge and experience. You will receive individual assistance and learn at your own pace. This event is geared toward adults but anyone over the age of 9 is welcome. Harmonicas will be on hand for participants that need one. If you would like to bring your own, Mike requests that it be a 10-hole harmonica in the key of C. Registration required.
