Food Truck Festival Coming To A Nearby Park Sunday

Picture this: It’s Sunday, your family is hungry and you’re in no mood to cook.

Sunday Food Truck Funday to the rescue!

The Billerica Recreation Department and Brunders are teaming up to bring the event to Vietnam Veterans Park (Treble Cove Road) in Billerica Aug. 23 from 11 a.m.-3 p.m.

A variety of food trucks will set up shop (or kitchen) and backyard games will also take place. Bring your own chairs or blankets.

If you register online for the event, which is highly recommended, admission is just $3 per person or $10 for a four-pack of general admission tickets. Kids 5 and under get in for free.

For $10 per person, you’ll receive VIP access to “express” lines at the food trucks from 11 a.m.-12 p.m.

Food items will be paid for separately at each food truck. Admission is $5 per person the day of the event.

This is an all-cash event. The event is rain or shine and no refunds will be offered. Right now, the forecast is looking cloudy with a chance of a stray thunderstorm, but not a total washout.
