ICYMI: Jake Gyllenhaal was in Chelmsford Wednesday

Actor Jake Gyllenhaalwas in town this week to film scenes from a movie about a man who was injured during the 2013 Boston Marathon bombings. Here's the full story, in case you missed it. 

CHELMSFORD, MA -Jake Gyllenhaal filmed scenes for the movie "Stronger" in Chelmsford Wednesday, Wicked Local reported.

Gyllenhaal will play Boston Marathon bombing victim and Chelmsford native Jeff Bauman in the upcoming movie.

Camera crews filmed Gyllenhaal riding in a car down Route 110 near the Chelmsford Housing Authority, Wicked Local reported.

"It's a scene of the Bauman family, this is when he was back home," unit publicist Scott Levine told Wicked Local.

Crews also filmed young baseball players on a field in the same area, Wicked Local reported.

"We are trying to create a sense of Chelmsford, and give a sense of the place," Levine told Wicked Local.
