Lane Restrictions On Route 3A In Chelmsford: MassDOT
Resurfacing work begins Monday. Here's how long it will last.
CHELMSFORD, MA — If you plan to drive down Route 3A from Chelmsford to Riley Road in Tyngsborough, you may want to plan a little extra time this week and next, as the Massachusetts Department of Transportation will be closing lanes from Route 40 in Chelmsford to Riley Road. Watch for detours.
But the good news is that the lane closures are part of an effort to get that road repaved.

- 7 a.m. until 4 p.m., Monday through Friday.
- 7 p.m. through 5 a.m., Oct. 4 through Oct. 15.
