Lions Top Cambridge R&L in First-Round Tourney Play
The Chelmsford High School girls' basketball team earned a spot in the quarterfinals with a win Thursday night.
CHELMSFORD, MA - The Chelmsford High School girls' basketball team got past Cambridge Rindge & Latin Thursday night to earn its way into the quarterfinal round of the North Division 1 sectional of the MIAA tournament.
The Lions (7) beat the Falcons (10) 58-50 in a home game.
The CHS girls will next be in action Sunday, March 6Â against No. 2-seeded Woburn High School. Tip-off is scheduled for 7 p.m. at Woburn High School.
