Lisa Arnold Endorsed by Bay State Stonewall Democrats

LOWELL, MA Lisa Arnold, candidate for State Representative in the 17th Middlesex district in Massachusetts, was recently endorsed by Bay State Stonewall Democrats.

The Bay State Stonewall Democrats (BSSD) advocate within the Democratic Party on behalf of the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, and Queer (LGBTQ+) community. They promote the ideals and programs of the Democratic Party to the LGBTQ+ communities throughout Massachusetts. BSSD adds their name to a number of organizations endorsing Arnold for the State House including Progressive Massachusetts, Sierra Club, Mass Voters for Animals, New Progressive Leaders, and Solidarity Lowell.

“We are proud to endorse Lisa Arnold for State Representative. When the rights of the transgender community in Massachusetts were on the ballot in 2018, Lisa walked the talk, knocking on doors for the Yes on 3 campaign, showing us she will be there for the LGBTQ community and for all vulnerable communities when the going gets tough,” said Alexandra Chandler, Endorsement Committee Chair for Bay State Stonewall Democrats. “She is a progressive leader who will focus on affordable housing, improving transportation and access to mental health care— all priorities for LGBTQ people for Massachusetts, especially LGBTQ people of color. The Primary Election is next Tuesday, September 1st. Polls are open from 7:00 AM until 8:00 PM. Early voting has already started, with hours each day through Friday.
