Lowell Resident Arrested for Calling in 'Threat to Kill' to Chelmsford Business

Chelmsford Police Department officers made several arrests in recent days. Below are those arrests, which do not indicate a conviction.

Monday, July 28

· Following a traffic stop, Chelmsford Police arrested Billiejo McLean, 30, of 187 Chelmsford Street, Chelmsford. McLean was charged with operating a motor vehicle after a suspended license, giving a false name to police, and an inspection sticker violation.

Tuesday, July 29

· Officers were called to Drum Hill Road for a report of a motor vehicle theft and recovery of stolen items. Following the incident, Elvin G. Alvarez, 19, of 80 Smith Street, Lowell, was arrested and charged with receiving or buying stolen property, and operating a motor vehicle without being in possession of a license.

Wednesday, July 30

· At 5:55 a.m. a business on Drum Hill Road reported that a person had made threats to kill to an employee over the phone. After investigating the incident, police arrested Jovanny Gonzales, 33, of 156 Branch Street, Lowell. Gonzales was charged on a warrant for suspended license, and also arrested for communicating a bomb scare.
