Medflight Evacuates Motorcyclist After Serious Injury Near Route 3

At approximately 3:45 p.m. on Thursday, a medflight evacuation helicopter landed in South Chelmsford for a motorcyclist that suffered significant injuries following response from Chelmsford emergency officials.

The motorcyclist, a 20-year-old male, had an open leg fracture following a direct collision at approximately 3:20 p.m. with a motor vehicle near the intersection of Billerica Road and Route 3.
