What you need to know in Chelmsford next week.

1. Donate your books: The Chelmsford Friends of the Library is hosting a book drop off on Wednesday where you can give your used books, CDs, and DVDs to the Chelmsford Public Library. This is the last collection day before the annual book sale.
2. Mosquito spraying: Stay away from the high school on Wednesday—there will be mosquito spraying at Chelmsford High from 8 p.m. until Midnight on Aug. 28.
3. Weather: According to the National Weather Service, weather this week will be mostly sunny with temps in the low to mid 60s. There’s a chance of rain on Tuesday.
4. Museum Passes: Summer is coming to a close, so why not head to a local museum with your kids before school starts? Check out the library's website for information on getting free or discounted entry to area museums.
5. Mystery Group: Are you interested in mystery novels? The MacKay Mystery Group meets twice a month to discuss novels of the genre.
