Obituary: Ryan Mullins, 34, of Chelmsford

CHELMSFORD, MA – Ryan Patrick Mullins, 34, of Chelmsford, Massachusetts passed away July 22, 2018 after a courageous battle with cancer.

Ryan was born on October 11, 1983 in Mission Viejo, CA to Thomas and the late Stephanie (Steffi) Mullins.

Ryan was a lifetime soccer fan having played himself throughout his life. Ryan was a devoted Boston sports fan attending many games with family and friends.

Ryan had an amazing sense of humor. There wasn’t an event or outing that Ryan wasn’t telling jokes or stories just to make those around him laugh. Ryan had many interests, including fishing, gardening, car enthusiast, passion for cooking and playing the guitar with his dad.

Ryan was devoted to his family. He had an incredibly big, kind heart and would be the first to offer to help when needed. Ryan took an active role in helping his mother breed and raise Golden Retrievers and Newfoundlands.

Ryan is survived by his father Thomas Mullins of Chelmsford, MA, his brothers; Thomas Mullins, Jr. and his wife Danielle of Derry, NH, Shawn Mullins and his wife Jennifer of Ooltewah, TN; and his niece Gretchen Mullins, as well as many beloved aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He is preceded in death by his mother Stephanie Mullins, by his maternal grandparents Vincent and Dorothy Carlucci and his paternal grandparents William and Frances Mullins.

Visitation will be held on Thursday from 5 to 8 pm at the Blake Chelmsford Funeral Home, 24 Worthen St., Chelmsford.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday at 11 o'clock at St. Irene Parish, 181 East St., Carlisle. KINDLY MEET AT CHURCH.

Interment will follow in Heart Pond Cemetery, Chelmsford. Expressions of sympathy may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38148.
