Police: Man Injured In Serious Crash In Chelmsford
One 82-year-old man with serious injuries was transferred to Boston Medical Center via Med-Flight.

CHELMSFORD, MA —Massachusetts state troopers responded Tuesday afternoon to a single-vehicle crash on Route 3 Northbound in Chelmsford.
A Massachusetts State Police spokesperson told Patch the only vehicle involved in the crash was a 2011 Ford Fusion driven by an 82-year-old man
The man was transferred via Med-Flight to Boston Medical Center with serious injuries.

As of Tuesday afternoon, Northbound Route 3 had reopened, the spokesperson said. Traffic had cleared up as of 4:45 p.m.
Troopers on-scene, multiple-vehicle crash, Route 3 NB at Route 495 in Chelmsford. Life-threatening injuries reported. Med-Flight transporting one to Boston with serious injuries. Route 3 NB closed at this time. MSP Collision Reconstruction and Crime Scene units enroute.
